Terms &
conditions.

The agreement between you and the gym, minus the parts lawyers add to sound expensive. Read it once; it is short on purpose.

Effective: January 15, 2026  /  Version 2.0

01Acceptance

By purchasing a day pass or membership, signing our waiver, or training at Unbound Fitness & Martial Arts ("Unbound", "we", "us"), you accept these terms. If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian must sign for you; the gym floor itself is 16 and up.

02Membership and access

  • Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Lending your access to someone else suspends both of you.
  • Access covers staffed hours as posted on the contact page. Holiday hours are announced at the desk and on our social pages.
  • Monthly plans expire at the end of the paid period; there is no auto-renewal and no cancellation fee. Prepaid quarterly and annual plans are non-refundable except as described in section 06.

03Assumption of risk and waiver

Strength training and martial arts are physical activities with inherent risk, including serious injury. By training here you confirm that you are physically able to participate, that you have disclosed relevant medical conditions on your waiver, and that you voluntarily accept these risks. This does not waive liability for our own gross negligence, and nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under Philippine consumer law.

04House rules

  • Coaches run the floor. Instructions about load, intensity and sparring are not suggestions.
  • Sparring is opt-in, gear-mandatory and permitted only under coach supervision at designated times.
  • Rerack your plates, wipe your equipment, wear clean training shoes on the gym floor and nothing but bare feet or wrestling shoes on the mats.
  • Respect everyone. Harassment, discrimination or repeated unsafe behavior ends your membership without refund, at our sole discretion, after one written warning except in serious cases.
  • No outside coaching for pay on our floor without a written agreement with us.

05Payments

All rates are in Philippine pesos, posted on the rates page, and payable at the front desk by cash, GCash, Maya or card. Official receipts are issued for every transaction. Rates may change with 30 days' posted notice; continuous members keep the rate they joined at for as long as their membership does not lapse.

06Freezes, cancellations and refunds

  • Quarterly plans include one 14-day freeze; annual plans include 60 freeze days. Freezes must be requested before, not after, the absence.
  • Documented medical freezes are free on any plan for the duration of the certificate.
  • If we permanently close or relocate more than 5 kilometers away, remaining prepaid time is refunded pro rata in full.
  • Cooling-off: any plan may be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of first purchase if you have attended two or fewer sessions.

07Personal belongings

Day lockers are free while you train; overnight items are cleared weekly to charity. We are not liable for belongings left outside lockers. Lost and found is held at the desk for 30 days.

08Intellectual property

The Unbound name, mark and training materials are ours. Filming for personal social media is fine where it does not capture other members who have not agreed; commercial shoots need written permission.

09Changes to these terms

Material changes will be posted on this page and at the front desk 30 days before they take effect. If you keep training after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with a change, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid unused period.

10Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We will always try to fix a problem at the front desk first. Failing that, disputes go to the proper courts of Quezon City.
